About Weight Units:

Metric Units:International System of Units (SI), based on the kilogram (kg). Metric units use a decimal system, making conversions very easy. 1 ton = 1000 kilograms, 1 kilogram = 1000 grams, 1 gram = 1000 milligrams.

Imperial Units:Mainly used in the US and UK. The pound (lb) is the most common unit, approximately 0.4536 kilograms. The ounce (oz) is often used for food and precious metals, with 1 pound = 16 ounces. The stone is mainly used for body weight.

Traditional Chinese Units:Market system weight units. 1 Jin = 500 grams, 1 Liang = 50 grams, 1 Qian = 5 grams. The Dan is a larger unit, 1 Dan = 100 Jin = 50 kilograms. Note: The Jin and Liang used in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan differ slightly from the mainland market system.

Usage Tips:This tool is suitable for everyday weight conversions, cooking recipe adjustments, logistics and shipping, jewelry weighing, and more. The carat is specifically for gemstones, with 1 carat = 0.2 grams = 200 milligrams.
